Electrical Engineering

Program PLC, HMI, Robots and other types of electronic devices. Analyze, develop, and evaluate large-scale complex systems. Design and development, installation and configuration, customization of functional testing of printing extrusion applications. Improve current systems and projects while designing, developing new ones. Use CAD tools to design electrical schematics and PCB assemblies. Use Eagle for designing PCB experience. Generate models or simulations in Advanced Simulation in MATLAB and Simulink that analyze expected performance which can be used to drive a multi-discipline team to an optimal solution Some of the duties but not limiting to are detailed below:

  • Prototype testing using XPC targeting of signal and systems interferences.
  • Develop dynamic models of response modules to external disturbances
  • Develop the mechatronic modules or sub-assemblies when given higher level module or sub-system requirements.
  • Derive lower level requirements and designs for mounted optics and mechatronic positioning and measurement devices
  • Advises programming staff in preparing the detailed machine program from the diagrams and flow charts prepared by the systems staff

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering or related major.
  • Experience in principles, tools, and technologies of Mechatronics systems design for both function and manufacturability.
  • Basic knowledge of pcb’s related heat transfer and thermal dynamics desired
  • Knowledge of Robotics and robot controls related electronics know how
  • Knowledge of position and presence sensors operation and use highly desirable
  • Expertise in and real-world prototyping
