- 2+ years experience with W3C or RelaxNG schemas
- 5+ years expertise with modular XML DTDs
- Experience with related standards such as RDF, Dublin Core.
- Bachelors degree in computer science, computer engineering, or liberal arts with equivalent technical experience
- Expertise in data analysis and defining structured data.
- Experience with one or more of the following: XSLT, XPath, XQuery, Schematron, Perl
- Ability to work in and lead teams of data modelers.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Ability to learn large, complex systems
- Ability to explain technical issues to customers and explain data/editorial issues to technical developers
