DW Professionals - Business Intelligence Consultant

Knowledge and Skills
- Strong technical skills in SAP BW 3.5, 7.0 and BWA 7.2
- Strong database (Oracle, SQL) and Data Modeling skills
- Good knowledge of SAP R/3 functional areas (SD, MM, FICO etc) and SAP Basis.
- Good understanding of SAP BO suite.
- Strong technical knowledge, with hands-on experience managing systems development in new computing architectures and environments (e.g. client/server Web); knowledge of relevant technology, tools, and middleware is critical.
Education
- Minimum: Bachelor's degree in Information Services or business-related (functional)
- discipline (materials management, purchasing, etc.), with and understanding of programming concepts. In lieu of a Bachelors Degree, an individual with business-related experience or specific Scotts experience will be considered.
Work Experience
- 4+ years hands-on configuration experience implementing BW solutions using BW 3.5, 7.0, BWA 7.2.
- Preferable knowledge and experience with SAP XI 3.1 and BO 4.0., Basis and R/3.
- Preferred business experience working with different business teams including POS, Finance, and Supply Chain.
- Experience with addressing help desk issues in areas of expertise and assisting with user problems in associated areas.
